A hippie teenager was asked to baby-sit. She agreed. However, before starting her babysitting duties, she got zonked on acid. As the couple left their one baby in her care, she started the dinner as requested. She lit the oven and was assigned to put the turkey in the oven an hour after the parents had left.
In her blissful state, she basted and wrapped the baby into a large pot and put the little infant in the oven. The baby died and was completely cooked.
Do you believe that?
It is called an urban legend and nearly 99% are false. It is a great story and you may get an e-mail about it. You may be instructed to spread the story to your workers to help reduce child abuse and neglect. Don’t do it. Not only will your colleagues hold you in contempt, you may get fired.

The key to urban legends is that they are good stories and could be true. They usually come from a friend of a friend. Although a lie, they live on much longer than they should.
