Please send to Mr. Mike Love. If he is interested and EMI Capitol might be interested, I will sign a release. I understand that this is unusual for a fan to do this, but it might be a good compilation in terms of sales. Thank you.
Prof. Joel Snell MA (Ret)
By the way, why am I doing this? I have been a fan of the Beach Boys since 1963.
I have been retired for 10 years and I spend most of my time writing and publishing. Please see joelsnell.com/
My former colleagues like Jazz or Classical music. I like the Beach Boys and Beatles. When Smile came out, I bought 10 albums and gave it to my former faculty members. Therefore I have an almost complete collection. I have hundreds of articles and E-books that have been published about other subjects. However, once in awhile I think about these fantasy albums.
This should be the last message sent to you on this topic. All have the “full” sound of the group. Nearly all are covers and they were created and distributed before the group came into existence. The exceptions are the song at the beginning and the second to last song on the list.
Incidentally, why were 15 Big Ones and Love You used such a flat sound?
Again, best Prof. Joel Snell.
