Disneyland is both the happiest place on Earth and the most impenetrable of facades. Who among us hasn’t marveled at the captive clone of Abraham Lincoln or the ghoulish fun of the Haunted Mansion and thought, “How the heck do they pull this off?” Well, thanks to these vintage backstage photos, you can now sneak a glimpse at some of the park’s trade secrets, including how Disneyland sausage is made (hint: It involves lots and lots and lots of robots). We’re lobbying for park managers to create another ride within every ride that just shows us how it’s all done. Until then, we’ve got this gallery.

Here’s one you won’t hear too much about. I have a friend who has been with them for over twenty years and has told me at times they’ve had serious rodent problems. They seem to be attracted to the food smell.,which by the way is piped in to bring out visitors appetite’s.

Frozen In Time,
How about some evidence of the reports that Walt Disney, (or perhaps just his head), was cryogenically preserved when he died in the late 60s? If he actually was frozen in liquid nitrogen, where is he and are there any photographs etc? Just wonderin’ ….
