Nationwide, 65% support Roe v. Wade decision to make abortion legal, but they also support restrictions so that it is not easy to do. Where there are restrictions, there are less abortions in the state. However, a number travel elsewhere, and many now take the morning after pill.
When controlling for population, there are less abortions today than since the advent of Roe v. Wade.
The restrictions include pre-abortion counseling, waiting periods, parental involvement, or method used to abort. Most Americans want abortions to be Abortion at the state levelavailable, but rare.Few see it as a joyous occasion.
