The article is a discussion and statistical breakdown of the variety of television consumers and their preferences on television programming.

It appears that we want one thing personally but support another public ally. One stat that stands out is that a random sample was conducted of which viewers were ask how much television that they consume in a week. Here is the response.

1-3 hours 12%
4-10 hours 34%
11-20 hours 26%
21-30 hours14%
31 and over 14%

In other words, nearly half the population has on the television for at least a couple of hours a day.
