Basically, Jackson had a superior legal team. Additionally, the prosecution put on the stand the mother and son of the family who accused Jackson of molestation and other charges.

Both were inconsistent and inadvertently portrayed themselves as grifters. The prosecution also called Jackson’s mate who had 2 of their children. It was thought that she would criticize Michael. She did not. She complimented him.

The jury said that they did not believe the prosecution in this case, but thought that Jackson was a predator. However, the trial was about this case only.
