WATCH OUT FOR CHINA

Newman, Richard (2005) China’s turn U.S. NEWS & WORLD REPORT, 6/20, 30-52

China is growing incredibly fast. By 2020, it should be the largest economy except for the USA in the world. Most are still poor, but they are richer than in the past.

Cheap labor, foreign capital from the states, and USA’s cheap dollar, all give China a big boost in the days ahead.
On the other hand, if it falls economically, it can pull down the USA and Europe with it.

Essentially Communist China is now becoming Fascist China. Nearly every industry has a state component, butt the private sector gains power and more power every day.

There are even some Capitalist paradises where those with lots of money can enjoy the material world. However, they are not free to speak against the government. Private capital and riches without free speech spells fascism.

They are now aiming their cars towards a European market where tiny little cars make sense.
