VICE PRESIDENT'S MEDICATIONS

Source: Internet Medication Web sites

If the Vice President was taking some of the "normal" medications for his heart condition, here are some "usual" meds that he may have taken prior to the accidental shooting. Some are taken the night before, others in the morning or before meals.

They are:

ATENOLOL. The medication is used to lower blood pressure.  It may cause drowsiness, and or dizziness.

ZETIA. Medications is used to reduce triglycerides May cause dizziness

TRICOR.This is also used to reduced tryglycerides. May cause weakness.

WELCHOL. An adjunctive med to reduce bad cholesterol. Causes sluggishness from constipation.

LIPTOR. Medication lowers bad cholesterol. Causes weakness and fatigue.

DIAZAPEM. An infant dosage of a tranquilizer better known as VALIUM. It causes drowsiness and fatigue.

ALCOHOL One beer hours earlier accelerates all the above side effects. Early stage of alcohol is euphoria, later hours is drowsiness.

One may be able to see that the interaction of these medications can be considerable. I take these and drink diet caffeine cola to counteract the side effects.
