56-57/  4 out of 10 new babies are born to single mothers. They come from the poor and also single mothers who are in their 40's financially successful and want a child. The outcome of these children are as usual subject to debate. There is substantial information that a neighborhood of single mothers is a recipe for crime. Young girls are hyper feminine and choose to bear a child early.

Sons are hyper masculine and kill each other.

Conservatives indicate that this applies to all families. Non-conservatives indicate that the

upper classes from the poor, the children do much better. And so it goes. What helps is

a very supportive extended family.

57/ Some states allow for "alienation of affection." This means that a wife who has a cheating husband can sue in civil court her husband's lover. There are 7 states that have such a law.

The numbers are dropping fast. Folks, particularily males, are no longer hunting. There has been a considerable drop in request for hunting licenses since 2004. A number of organizations are trying to increase hunting, but at the time of this writing it is not so. Imagine a Saturday for a teen. They can go hunting or sleep in, watch a football game, and then play with videos or surf the net for a chat. They may also want to hunt virtually on the internet.

Pink is pretty for prison cells. Miller-Baker pink appears to calm prisoners. However, not all agree.

Prisons in Texas and Missouri are trying it.

The average video gamer is 26 and is in the coveted 18 to 34 age range. Although females are growing, most are male. They are middle class. This last year's adverting income was 175 million dollars.

The last 5 years has seen an exponential growth of catalogs in the mail. The increase is due to the internet. Folks see an item and either call or go to the URL and order. It saves time from the mall.

It is harder to build a mall. Land is or the perception that land is getting scarce is one feature. The other is the number of zoning and other restrictions.

MY SPACE is now creating more personalized social networks and personal online circles. Further, they are offering more services. There are also new upstarts and Face book is also

expanding.

 More and more people are involving themselves in web casts that can be serious discussions or films that they made. In the mean time, they are attracting passionate fans. Or, they are creating

serials with each episode that can be watched anytime 365/ 24 hrs a day.

Your cell phone may be exploding with new features so that it becomes your right arm. There are incredible numbers of new devices and the are more to come.

Retirees or city and state workers may be in for a shock. In the years ahead, their pensions may be cut. They are living too long. States will probably not raise taxes.

Everyone in the office is using the e-mail too much. Thus,  some companies are moving

to "no e-mail Fridays." Corporations want more one on one communications as it is

clearer, but not necessarily more less time consuming. Further, they want to not overburdened

the computer systems.

Walt Disney was probably bi-polar. After the age of 29 and the company successful, his brother

took over the company and Disney played with his toy trains at home. At work he terrorized his

employees. He had his first nervous breakdown in his late 20's.
