Hello! I don’t know about you, but if your child does not get a full ride scholarship to a top university, why bother? Party schools are very expensive and they can drain every damn dime from you.

If you want a good college, why not try a small private college? Small classes are the best feature of all. Almost every school will have alcohol and drugs, no matter how hard the administration tries to stop it. A small private means that the professor has a greater chance to get to know your student. When they don’t show up very often, the teacher can quickly notice that. I enjoyed teaching at Dana College just outside Omaha for about a decade. I got to know the students. See my link to the Dana College.

Another incredible opportunity is the community college. Small classes with modest tuition make this choice an ideal one. When I started at Kirkwood Community College, there were about 3,000 students and a handful of buildings. Today, the number is between 15,000 to 20,000. It has earned every award imaginable for a two year school.

In both places, the students have opportunities to go to social functions, but they also make their own fun. Both schools are located in or near large cities. There is plenty to do.
Again, I have a home page and link for Kirkwood.

If you don’t see the links, try Kirkwood.edu or Dana.edu/

Party on!
