TOP TEN DREAMS

Kantrowitz, Barbara & Karen Springen (2004) “What Dreams Are Made Of” NEWSWEEK, 9/9 p.41-47.

According to this source, the top ten dreams for both females and males are the following:

1. One is being chased.
2. Sexual experiences
3. Falling.
4. One is dealing with teachers and studying.
5. One arrives too late for an opportunity.
6. One is on the verge of falling.
7. One is trying to do something repeatedly.
8. A person now living is dead.
9. One can fly, levitate, or soar through the air.
10. One can sense a presence vividly.

The source of dreams is controversial. The ends of the debate begin with the position that dreams do not have a purpose and originate from the brain stem or related areas.
The other end is that some dreams are messages from the other side of life.
