THANK YOU COACH FERENTZ The Iowa Hawkeyes again gave us an exciting season. First, we had 7 wins. Second, the team had 3 near misses. In the Northwestern, Michigan, and Florida games, luck, fate, and or destiny put those win columns in the loss stats. In all of them, we lost in the last few minutes.
The worst was the semi-literate call of an official on one of the last plays. It was a usual call for and a wrong call. Iowa lost. Along with the TATE HOLLOWAY PASS, we now have the last minute FLORIDA CALL.
So what has Ferentz done for you lately? He gave us a winning season and a January bowl. In the last 5 years, Iowa has averaged 9 wins a season. This year, every game was televised. Nearly every game was exciting with a mix of pass and rush.
The season did not turn out exactly as fans had hoped, but even the losses were exciting.
If you don’t believe me about Ferentz talent, just go ask the pro-NFL people. |
