Depression should not be glamorized. There is a thread that runs throughout the culture that there is something attractive and alluring about the blues. The myth says that people become more of a human if they have suffered and they can become more creative. Many great works were done by those with depression.

Look, if you go looking for depression, you will easily find it. Further, regardless of how well you live, your are going to be depressed at times. So, let go of depression. You can slip up and be happy. Anti-depressants generally work. Thoughts that are positive generally mean that depression is not necessary. What is wrong with a happy person? Don’t try to fake it or make yourself happy, it just happens. Food, diet, exercises along with a meaning/religious system help.
