A "blog" is a personal on line journal. However, it is open to the public. The word was first used way back in 1997 when Jorn Barger called it a a" weblog". In 1999, Peter Merholz titled it a "weblog." Then somewhere and some how it became a" blog".There are50,000 new posts every hour. Blogs have grown and someday, most of us will have one.

SOCIALVIBES.NET is not a blog. It is a web site with current sidebar news, and my own research and stories. It is also sourced. If you want a special blog, go to google and see their blog search. Daypop.com is one of the most comprehensive sites for numerous blogs.

The more links to blogs the more likely the number of visitors and hits. Sovialvibes in 15 months has about 10 links, although it is not a blog.

Most of the old media now has interactive components and links to special blogs. You will have one someday, and the way you write and the special content could make you an overnight sensation.
