NOT REACHES TOWARD SCIENCE FICTION
Levy, Steven (2005) Television reloaded NEWSWEEK, 5/30, 52-53
This is the stuff of science fiction, but now it appears that it is about to explode. For those who recall the beginning of cable, it started with the early 80’s. In late 79’ there were 4 choices, this included ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS. When you got that cable box on top of your set, your choices zoomed to 15 channels. Today, one can have hundreds of choices. When cable goes to the internet,
the number of choices will geometrically EXPLODE. There are billions of
sites now. Some you can see some on your watch, others on your cell phone,
and many on your computer television.
