Can’t remember people’s names?

Try the following:

1. Pay attention to the name and repeat it.
2. Verify that the person uses that name. Do you go by Jack or John?
3. Picture the name written across the forehead of the person.
4. Imagine writing the name.
5. Relate the name. If the person’s name is George think of the 43rd president.
6. Use the name frequently.
7. If you forget, say “hi stranger! I remember you well, but I just can’t place your name.”
