WALT (27) Sweden now faces regrets for allowing so many Iraqis into their country. This is not a race issue. Swedes and Iraqis may look different but they are both Caucasian. However, there is a world of differences between the two groups and the 9 million Swedes regret the decision to allow the immigrants in. They voted out the Social Democratic Socialists for the Christian Democrats. The two groups differ in language, customs, religion and outlook. Culturally, Sweden is mod/post mod culture. The Iraqis are  pre modern and come from a dictatorial state. Further, there is not a reason that the Shia and Sunni can not fight in Sweden as they have since the 7th century in the middle east. Sweden has not been known to have a ghetto. They have one now. Further, the Christian Democrats can now play one group against another as tories have done for years in various countries, so that the shared risks of group negotiations in getting insurance, and health care can be torn asunder. With that collapse, the countries starts heading toward a third world version of Mississippi. Sweden had prospered with a viable very moderate form of socialism that allowed for tremendous growth of the capitalist sector and worker benefits of socialism. If there is a message in all this is to take  A FEW IMMIGRANTS like other countries, but to keep immigration at a minimum. American corporations have triumphed by having diverse low skill, low educated workers to drive down wages, drive up crime, and drive down the social net. Immigrants begin to feel alienated, kids form gangs, crime goes up and the civility of Sweden dies.The old Sweden

can come back if immigration is stopped. There are enough of everyone in the country and the Iraqis can assimilate. The issue is not keeping immigrants out, it is keeping a cultural identity of

the country and ANY onslaught of another group changes the ambience of the host country. If an immigrant family comes in from ANYWHERE, they should have professional degreees.Pl ease think of immigrating a million structurally poor English. They have been poor for generations and they speak in a very thick cockney. What do you think would happen to Sweden. Bonds would be broken.The Anglos would be a social problem and the Brit's would be almost as light as the Swedes in terms of race.

Denmark is facing the same issue. They allowed another country of middle easterners in. The number was large for the 5 million member nation. Today, there is a bitter division between Danes and the new immigrants. By the way, Danes come in all colors, but they share the same culture.
