An anthropologist followed the lives of at least 15 gays who went into a conversion program to change these folks into straights. It didn't work. Two dropped out of the program. One may have committed suicide, and the rest turned to celibacy. One got married but still had gay thoughts and destinies. He wrote the anthropologist and said he was going to do his best and give it a try.

In the eyes of themselves and the evangelical church, they however became ex-gays. That means that Jesus now loved them and if they fell from grace, they could get back in good graces with the church. However, all resented having to go in front of various congregations and tell members that they have become strictly heterosexual and have been saved. What happened is they became celibates and that was counted as heterosexual.

The report ends there, but past research has indicated that about 3 out of 10 "convert." That means that they refrain from homosexuality, but still are gay in their preferences and orientations .Numerous strategies have been used from psychoanalysis to hormone therapy to aversion therapy. Videoconferencing was going to someday save us the travel and money to see other colleagues or clients. Ma Bell offered television/ telephone back in 1964. It was a flop. Most folks are casual and don't want others to see them . However, new large flat panels, with excellent sound and clarity of picture is now being used. Generally a business will set off one room for video conferencing. What is so important here is that non-verbal communication makes up the largest part of communication. Thus,  the panel are very large and very clear. The audio can pick up nervousness and

both positive and negative emotions. There should be more videoconferencing in the future.

Males have depression too and have it about the same amount as women. At one time, depression was thought of as a women's disease. What men did back then was kept their distance, hid their

travails, suffered psychosomatic problems, and drank their way through life. So now we know that you can get therapy and med to help.Even a pet scan can locate where depression occurs.

So get help. By the way, DREW CAREY, KURT COBAIN, WILLIAM STYRON, MIKE WALLACE, TERRY BRADSHAW, DICK CAVETT, THOMAS EAGLETON, BUZZ ALDRIN, ERNEST HEMINGWAY, and ABRAHAM LINCOLN had it.

Television is getting better than the movies. TV can tell a story over a longer period of time and technology has allowed those with less budgets to do what the big budget movies are doing. Further, TV can take a chance on an idea for less money and if it works it can be replicated or improved. TV because it has less money is willing to experiment with new ideas that may not be available to Hollywood. If you want to see a good movie try a low budget indy. They can  afford to take chances. Further, your favorite movie if you missed it will end up on television and you may be able to rent or buy a DVD. In the meantime, Hollywood is still betting on the opening week end. If it goes than it makes money and even more money overseas. And, yes there is still

trash television.
