Sex slavery has increased because the Soviet Union has been destroyed and a number of East European countries are failing. Selling your daughter into prostitution is very financial rewarding.

Further, globalization expands trade of all things including humans. Slaves are tortured into submission. Most are used for sex and they rarely escape. Not all agree on this , but it appears

that we are into a rising social problem. Slaves may be in a house near you. If you live in a metro area where there is lots of traffic and anonymity, you may live near a house of slave prostitution.

Most of the women are very young and it has been known that they are sold and transferred in large American airports.

8/ The women who got a new face is coming along fine. Her appearance is now about normal and she is adapting to having a new face. Knowing that her face came from a dead person, some strangers treat her awkwardly and she feels very uncomfortable. However, she looks even younger and feels more attractive.

Both the Brits and Prime Minister Tony Blair feel used. Bush treats Blair casually and has not

returned in favor of what Blair did for him in support of the Iraq war. Blair wants Bush to address

the Palestine-Israel situation and to join in the Global Warming treaty. Bush will not do so.

Iran's social ills are getting worse. Some fifty percent of the males are unemployed. Heroin use has doubled in the last year. Many women are now going into prostitution. A religious society as opposed to say a democratic society does not get to all social problems. It may drive them underground. This is not to question the strong role that a religion can play in a social system. However, on balance, theocracy do not appear to do as promised.
