Although Capitalism is flowering and blossoming around the world, Americans now have reservations. First, many of the capitalisms other than American are authoritarian rule with market economies. That spells fascism which is a form of capitalism. As Command socialism or what Yanks call Communism dying on the vine, it is replaced with fascism.

Here in the states, capitalism has been a good word and any other economic policy is usually called socialism. Yes, but it  is also called social democratic capitalism as most of the economy is held in the hands of private individuals and overwhelmingly it is more efficient. So what’s left of the Left is moving toward Left wing capitalism or social democratic capitalism. Socialists would be happy to have it because the word socialism still remains relevant and socialist policies are better maintained. In other words, the core of socialism is…capitalism.

Where Americans sour on capitalism, they like Free Enterprise. The first word according to focus groups is that it stands for greed and powerful domination of the vulnerable. Free Enterprise is a word that connotes Ma & Pa stores, good products, and good service. It is right their next to democracy and apple pie. So the American Chamber of Commerce is going to spend 100 million dollars on changing people’s minds about capitalism. It’s Free Enterprise or the Great Free Enterprise system. Folks don’t like risk taking which is part of capitalism and they like protectionism which capitalist don’t like.

Perhaps in 3 to 5 months, we may all be Free Enterprisers and we should vote for the party that has brought to you in its more pure forms. That party is________. You fill in the blank
