The number of hyper-poor people grew by 26% in the last 5 years under the Bush administration.

While there is a dramatic growth of severe poverty in the USA, the share of national income going to corporate profits has dwarfed the amount going to wages and salaries.

COOPER (23) There is a fear that the dollar will collapse, this fear is that the USA buck has already declined 27% since the early days of the Bush administration. Additionally, Chinese tariffs are rising thus making it harder to sell American goods in this burgeoning company.

KILEY & WELCH (32-33) Chrysler is likely to sell out. both GM and Ford are on the ropes. There should be a new convergence of ownership in the next few years.

WELCH (42-50) Toyota is fearful that they will become the #1 car in the USA. In almost every year, CONSUMER REPORTS indicate that TOYOTA and HONDA make the best cars. They were also first with hybrids and other innovations. The major draw to Toyota is the quality of the car. However, especially in the midwest, Toyota is looked upon with suspicion. One should buy American. In the mean time, Toyota is building more and more plants in America and taking over some facilities previously owned by the Big Three. One of the main features that workers note from their stay with GM to transferring to Toyota is that management eats in the same cafeteria and has their offices on the assembly line. Further, Toyota is moving a great deal of money in to the economy for displaced workers, poor, immigrant, and structural improvements in the cities that they are located. Additionally, green environmental measures are first adopted by Toyota along with new safety innovations.The car company is the most favored in the heavily populated areas on both coasts.

There are many reason that the Sunni and Shiva  have been fighting each other since about the 6th century. However, the primary one started after the death of Mohammed and his visible ascension into heaven. In Islam, it was thought that the next in line would be his close friend Abu Bakur. However, the bloodline issue would surface and the royal leader by blood is Abi Talib. Thus the struggle began. Most of the Islam world is Sunni. There are significant difference between the two. It would be simi liar to at one time Catholic, Orthodox, and Protestant. Today, Christianity is more likely to divide along political issues.

Did you know that Ellen DeGeneres is gay? Yawn. Gay women are now becoming mainstream. Bi-sexual women are in big demand by straight men. Gay men still have problems with straight women and men. So we will see what happens.
