A compendium of articles views in different directions the riots in France. The political Right suggests that the travail in Paris and numerous other cities is the result of a welfare system that provides the poor with welfare and high rise housing in the suburbs. That France is the largest European country of Muslims and that there is a clash of civilizations between Muslim poor and Christian secular middle to rich. The solution is to see this in terms of creating a more conservative economy of low wage jobs that will employ the mainly Arab and African males (and females.) Idleness is the work of the Devil. Further, strict laws and more prisons will break the back of resistance. France is not alone. Most of Europe has poor Muslim populations. They will all be dominant in terms of populations and some power by the end of the 21st century. This also applies to the United States. By 2050 or so, most of the population will be people of color. The Left wants to continue the social model, but is shaken by the riots. They look to the states for more jobs and stricter laws. There must be the circulation of elites. France treats theoretically everyone the same. However, folks with Arabic names are less likely to get a good job. Thus the children and grand children of immigrants invited to do lousy jobs for little now have children raised in ghetto functioning families. Leaders of the Arab-African factions must be given a chance to move to the top. Thus some form of affirmative action is necessary to create a middle class of color. Weed and seed is necessary to make a social democratic society survive. Enterprise zones and public jobs are also helpful. Bull dozing high rises and spreading poor population in vast areas is also possible. Housing should be purchased through homestead laws so that more can identify with their home and neighborhood. Education must be improved and orderly behavior encouraged. Crime must be punished but equally between the classes. The French may be the first of many countries to deal with the movement of people that were invited to live and now are really designed to leave. The model can only survive when most of the population has a feeling of belonging to the system. Personal private ownership with a welfare system that rewards work may be the answer. All western countries at the end of the 21st century will be dominated by people of color in terms of numbers. How much power will they have and what responsibilities will they do? A combination of a capitalist economy and a socialist welfare infrastructure
may work if personal property can be owned by the poor. Racism must also
be fought. After this French uprising, it would be no surprise that the
middle and upper classes vote for a strong orderly society that segregates
the bottom. However, after that has been installed a leftward direction
is very possible.
