study says” THE GAZETTE, 11/5, 3A. In adjusted dollars, fuel costs are up due to obesity of plane passengers. 65% of Americans are overweight from 1999 to 2002. This is up from 1976 when it was 47%. Those defined as obese has doubled from 15% to 30%. On the whole, Americans are 1 inch taller and 25 pounds heavier. |
