ORGANIC FOOD MYTH& OTHER GEMS
BUSINESS WEEK (2006)10/16 51-56/ BRADY There is an organic myth growing. An item in the super says that it is organic. What does that mean? That is the crux of the issue. It should mean that the agriculture product is grown without the benefit or detriment of synthetic treatments of modern agriculture. That also means no fertilizer that is made in a factory, but rather manure from a cow. There are many more items in the criteria, however that should be enough. So you ae start with an organic product and folks like it and buy more. As the growth of the food increase in demand, you have to make some changes to keep the shelf life of the product viable. You also need to make the food product in bigger and bigger batches. So if it is a milk product you have the milk radiated. Then to cut fat, you do another procedure. Finally, you are selling a lot of this organic product and there is not a lot of organic left. Why? Because if you go straight organic, the food can spoil or become toxic. 70-79/EDMONDSON BMW DREAM FACTORY produces great cars and an affordable ones due to workers and management. 46/ SAMUELSON Watch out for the decrease of housing prices, if the decline is too rapid and too deep, there should be a recession of 2007. For the 21st century, housing has been the growth industry replacing the tech industry of the 90's. Housing also gave the consumer a false confidence, that they were worth more than they really were. Further, ARM's created false consciousness and confidence so that consumers thought they could buy more than they thought.
