China is growing not only militarily but diplomatically all over the world. As the world loses faith in the United States, China is making inroads. They have been redefined as the alternative to the USA.

Chinas embassies and trade ventures have dramatically increased. Other countries do not fear imperialism from them because the military may be growing, but it is relatively small compared to the United States.
