Terrorism has always bee with us. To fight terrorism all issues must be covered. First, there must be target hardening at home. How many areas of the country need to be watched, monitored, and defended? Second, if and when we go to war, does that make us better in the eyes of the world and our citizenry or does it worsen the conditions. Third, if we go to war, can it be more of surgical strikes and the avoidance of guerilla war.? How many non-combatants are killed? Fourth, how can we win over the moderates? How can we treat Muslim populations in general so that they feel safe and secure in their homes and at work here in the states?

On going guerilla warfare is disillusioning to many supporters and combatants. Generally, you don’t lose or win the war, but you lose the hearts and minds of those collaterals that are caught between opposing parties.
