NEW DRUG FOR FEMALE AROUSAL & OTHER THINGS

BUSINESS WEEK (2007) 1/8/

36-37/Carey/ A new medication for depression did not work but a serendipity occurred. It had little effect on men, but it did on women. They became more sexually aroused. It is a little blue pill and it works on the central nervous system.Filbersarian is the name of the drug and it has hopeful properties.

Please remember that there is also psychological and sociological effects on the arousal of any human being, so the biochemical is not enough.

The market appears to be huge.

There is a new scam. Numerous outside parties  get your medical data and the necessary information in it and use it so that they can get medical care that they can not afford. Further, they sell your ID to others who want the charges sent to you. Worse, your data is then mixed with someone else and in a matter of minutes, you have diabetes and perhaps lost a leg. To make matters worse, if you have allergies and or related they can be misread in the emergency room and you will be in a small amount of cases sent to your death

Some computer scammers are setting up web sites that sound like the real thing. As an example Verizon and Dell are ripped off. You order something on the phony web site and discover that they don't send anything and you call say Dell and they don't know anything about you. In the mean time, the scam site, is gone.

Many of the promises made by "natural" drugs have not been tested. They do not have

the clearance of the FDA. It appears that most but not all don't work as new double blind tests

are used.  What does work is Omega 3, a small dose of calcium and Vitamin D. However, you should still consult your doctor. 21 billion is spent every year on supplements.

35/ The new Democrat Barney Frank, Chairman of Finanancial Services Committee when interviewed by BUSINESS WEEK said the following:

Outsourcing? He would like to stop it, but it can't be stopped.

If China dumps their American dollars? We force economic retaliation so they can't sell in this country.

Trade? We have to help American workers first.

Denmark is facing a crisis. The Danes see themselves as doing good and having an egalitarian society where welfare benefits are mixed with work and economic success. However, there is a growing divide among the 3 percent of Muslims that live in the country. They were immigrated to do cheap labor and now live in secludes areas that appear by Danish standards to be ghettos.

Muslims are very religious. Although they are darker than most Danes, many are from North Africa or the Middle East which makea them White. Danes believe in personal religion and a direct tie to God. The Lutheran Church has historical value and provide rites of passage such as funerals and weddings. Muslims believe in outward displays of religious affirmation. So that among other things provide a growing division between the 2 groups. Immigration has been dramatically reduced in the 6 million member country.

other diseases. The DNA tests are not that accurate and the probability that you will get the disease is not that great.

NEWSWEEK (2007) 1/8

Samuelson/ 51

There is a mea-worry about the economy. It could be a wild card out there that can throw

the country into a mess. What is it? One can feel it and see it. There is a 12.5 trillion GDP but there is also a 9 trillion dollar debt.Long term forecasts predict slow growth controlling for inflation.

What may help in one area, could hurt productivity.

Quindlen/ 56

President Kennedy said that he was responsible for the Bay of Pigs fiasco. It won him great approval. Today, one is lucky to get a "mistakes were made" from a politician. Can anyone say that I was wrong anymore? Contrition is part of leadership.
