MRS. MAXINE DONOVAN

This is David Donovan. I know that you called my mother from time to time, and I wanted to inform you that she passed away on April 14th. She was almost 97 years old. She died peacefully. I was with her the last two days. Her ashes have now been spread over Two Inlets lake, so she is with my Dad. I tried to find a telephone number for you so I could call you personally. Maxine Donovan was my adoptive mom .After my mother died I asked her to be my mom. She agreed.

The relationship lasted for almost 10 years. Mrs. Donovan was a high school friend of my mothers. Later

she moved to Spirit Lake then on to Park Rapids, Minnesota. They owned and ran WEIGELWOOD RESORT from the early 50's to the early 60's. During the 50's I worked there doing odd jobs in the

In our conversations, Maxine wanted to go home and be with Perry. When David put the ashes into the lake at TWO INLETS, two geese floating together passed him by.
