| LOSING
TIME TO YOUR EMPLOYER
U.S. workers are on the job 9 more weeks than European employees. Dr. Juliet Schor calculated that from 1973 to 2000, nearly 200 hours have been added to the work year. We also have the shortest paid vacations in the western world and have given back to our employers as a nation 175 million days of paid vacation. Those who are hurt the worst are “managers” (that is they may be in name only) and the working poor, who have 2 or 3 jobs. Enjoy! |
