LOOK -A –LIKES

I was at the super when I went through the line and saw a familiar face. I said hello and asked her if she had 2 jobs because I often saw her at a drug store. She said no that she had one job and that she had heard that there was another person in town that was her twin. After much work, I got the two ladies together by phone.
They both were 75.
They both lived in the same city for all those years.
They both looked alike.
They both wore their hair the same way.
Both claimed that many people talk to them on familiar bases but did not know they were talking to the wrong person.
They both worked just about 2 football fields away from each other.

Do you have a ringer? I do. In an old PARADE magazine, I saw some one just like me walking behind
President Reagan who was having his picture taken.

There are companies that continue to look for look like impersonators who will lip synch the famous person’s song or talk with an audience. If there voice is not the same, they may be greeters at the door.

Somewhere, there is someone that looks like you. Call them what you want, but it is one of those amazing mysteries if life.

I have a buddy who had a friend that said he saw a ringer and went up and talked to him. The person looked surprised and said he didn’t know him. My buddy’s friend said that he had a twin out there.

And now the rest of the story…. My buddy’s mother said that when he was adopted they looked at him or a set of twins. They chose him. My friend thinks that perhaps his now deceased mother had changed the story slightly and chose her son from two identical twins.

Think about it.
