Young women from 10-14 are having less kids than in 1946. That year was chosen because the birth rate was so low. When kids have kids, it is both difficult for the mother and the child.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention suggests birth control or abstinence or both reduced the pregnancies. For most Americans, this is a good sign. The highest number of kids having kids is among Blacks and Hispanics.

However, these are low relative to the entire age group or population of the two minority groups.
