It is time to get rid of the filibuster. The Democrats are hanging to this legislative strategy because it is trying to kill Bush legislation.

However, most of the filibuster comes from the political Right to kill Left of center legislation. Thus, in the long run, the center-left would benefit from something the right wants to do now.
