AGRI-SATELLITES

Satellites can fly over farm fields and detect plant health, moisture, minerals, and numerous related information for each individual farmer. An e-mail is sent to the

Farm owner and thus s/he can make decisions about what to do. It is well  worth the costs and has begun in France. The company is private and each agriprocessor signs up for the services. New record yields have come from this new techno-strategy.

RETURN OF THE HOUSE CALL

I was the last generation to have a doctor come to my parent’s house. I recall the he had a black bag and what ever I had it required a shot. Now with those without insurance and others a stop at the emergency room generally averages $1500 a visit.

Microsoft and others are now going to medical vans with nurse practioners or doctors that will stop at your house and a truck full of drugs and related needs. The savings is about

35%.  Most of these doctors or doctor related make 350 calls a month. Thus the cost/ benefit is tremendous and the doctor can get a perspective on what kind of living conditions surrounds the patient and make a suggestion on some things that may be

aggravating the patient.
