GOOD NIGHT TOM!
(From your on the spot reporter)

Tom Brokaw, the premier newscaster for NBC said good bye on his last news delivery.
For those of you, who have read my SMALL TALK in which I talked about my phenomenal effect on billionaire Warren Buffet, this has a similar story.

I first saw Tom on the local affiliate then for NBC. It is KMTV in Omaha. Brokaw had completed a stint at a South Dakota station and then it was on to Omaha. I cheered him on. Tom also got help from a speech therapist in the river city to reduce the roll of l’s and r’s, got his act together and made the upward climb to the Big Apple.

From there, the 64 year old spent 25 years on the tube. Again I cheered him on. Brokaw, Jennings, and Rather replaced Huntley & Brinkley, Walter Cronkite, and Douglas Edwards at the Big 3.

The landscape is now been replaced by cable and the internet with 24/7 365 news.
Or perhaps, one can say that the news has been replaced by opinion. Brokaw was generally moderate in politics and tone. He plans to do some reporting and features for NBC.

He is one of the great ones. Imagine what would have happened if I had not watched him and gave my exuberant support!

Good night Tom. Good night Joel.
