GLBOAL WARMING IS A HOAX

BEGLEY (20-27) Senator Barbara Boxer receives a report from 600 scientists from government, businesses,academia, green groups from 40 countries that global warming is a very likely and unequivocally va lid.. Her senate committee hears the report, afterwards a staffer tells her that she or he would receive $10,000 from an oil company think tank to write a paper casting doubt on global warming. She later discovers that this funding of naysayers comes from oil and fossil fuel groups. That this has been going on since at least 89' The main theme of this opposition is to continuously raise doubt. Today, 64% believe there is a great deal of scientific doubt. However, major Republicans like Governor Arnold Schwartzeneger of California support green amendments. After millions spent by fossil fuel groups, anti-global warming have the numbers but they seem to be fading. A number of oil companies now publicly say that they support green alternatives. What is not said in the article is that the other big polluters like China and India are at the moment sticking to fossil fuel. The story continues after this word.... TIME (2007) 8/13 You live in an apartment or another place that may not be suitable for long term care for a dog. You love dogs. You like that they will let you hold them and they will pretend to listen to you. Whatever they do say with their body language and barks, you don't understand and that may be all the better. Along comes FLEX PET. They charge $700.00 a year, plus $25.00 a day to have a dog. You are screened to see if you will be good to the dog. After this process, you get to have a dog for awhile. Then when you have to say good bye, you say good bye.
THE ECONOMIST (2007) 8/13 (15) Do you like to drink purified water in plastic bottles. Great! Unfortunately, consumer groups are finding the water is filtered TAP water. So..you can buy one bottle of the stuff and then put it under the tap if you have a filter which is not all that expensive. One company is being forced to spell out the acronym P.W.S. that is printed on the side. What does it mean? It is PUBLIC WATER SOURCE or tap water. Folks, that is expensive water. BUSINESS WEEK (2007) 8/13 (68) ELGIN Another company of bottled water is doing the same thing. They are using bottle tap water. Further, how much energy is used by trucks and trains to get that plastic bottle to you? A lot. It is cheaper to get the water from the tap and pour it into a used bottle water bottle or container. |
