GAY MEN RESPOND DIFFERENTLY TO PHERMONES

Schmidt, Randolph (2005) Gay men respond differently to pheromones YAHOO NEWS,
5/9

Gay men and straight women respond about the same to male testosterone. When sniffing test was used both showed arousal to the ambience. There was a significant difference. Using a PET scan they found that the reaction of the straight women and gay men were in the hypothalamus. Other areas were noted but not as specific.

This finding also compliments that of map reading. The two groups read maps the same way. The findings were in the NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCE.
