FAST FOOD DIRTY DINING SURVEY

NBC DATELINE, 6-7 PM/ 3-13.

The following is a ranking of fast food chains and how many critical
violations were counted by public health inspectors. A critical
violation means that the deviance can cause directly or indirectly illness or
death to a patron. The first entry is the best and the last entry is the worst.
One must also take into account that even in the worst, most people most of
the time never get ill. The content of the food served at fast foods is
another matter that is not part of this report.

Using a stratified random sample by an independent researcher and
conducted by same, here is the following:

(Best)
JACK IN THE BOX
TACO BELL

(Most Improved)
WENDY'S

(Mid rank)
SUBWAY
DAIRY QUEEN
BURGER KING
ARBY'S

(Worst)
KFC
HARDEES
MC DONALDS
