The senate and house have become more divided than ever before.

However, way before modern times there were fist fights and even into

the early 60's, there was a brothel nearby. So the real tension started with Civil Rights, the Vietnam war and all the rest.

So now, the best that one can do is to buy time with money from special interests and smear the opposition. Hopefully, they fight back.

John Kerry in 2004 maintained that he did see action and that he was

in Vietnam. The SWIFT BOAT coalition said other wise. Among other things, he lost the election. However, one year later Kerry took them to

court. He won and was vindicated. However, he still lost the election.

Today, Republicans live in Virginia and Democrats dwell in Maryland.

There are other variations. At one time, there was even into the 70's a time to go out and drink with other party. Now that is less so.

We will just have to wait it out.

The wall worked! Years ago, a sociologist/demographer indicated that soon Jews will become a significant minority in their own homeland.

Further, most of those countries around Israel do not want them to survive. Thus, one suggestion was to build a huge wall around a significant portion of Israel. Before the wall, human bombs and related killings of Jews became nearly a daily event.

Additionally, peace accords and finding resolutions were just never completed. The policy still stands as a 2 nation stance toward Palestine.

In the mean time, the wall has been nearly complete and the peace

accords continue, but without urgency. The wall has worked. Critics

maintain that the wall does cover some parts of Palestine which appears to be true. However, the rest of the criticism do not appear to

hold up.

When the Berlin wall was established, it was to keep East Germans imprisoned in their own country. This is not analogous to The Israeli

Wall. This wall is to protect citizens from being attacked from outside the wall. Further, within Israel, there is Muslims and Christians. They are asked to obey the law. Israel is a parliamentary democracy.

Further, there is still questions about the legitimacy of Israel. Two book reviews are enclosed in the archives written by opposite parties. Please

Israel is loaded down also with weaponry as the Middle East is not a very safe place. Iraq and Iran had a very long war. The whole are was at one time dominated by Europe and now the USA.

Israelis know there will be more war, but a break in violence is a welcomed one. Hopefully some day, a long, long time from now peace

may emerge.

Color lines are shifting. If many white folks took a DNA or did a thorough ancestral search, they would find a drop of black. For those under 30 color is not much of an issue ,but for others beyond that age it is.

The new white will be different in the future. It will probably mean that

your are predominantly white, not entirely white. Euro-Asians and

Caucasian Africans will also pass into polite society. It is just a matter of time.

If the HEALTH BILL is finally passed with the senate version. It should look something like this.

* You can stay on your parent's insurance until 26, after that you will pay a tax to have a limited policy if you are not employed.

*No money will go directly or indirectly for abortions, public options or

death panels (which never existed.)

*Cost will be capped depending upon your financial status.

*Cadillac plans will be eliminated. Riskier patients will still get coverage.

*Medicare plans will be improved by the money that a patient pays for drugs.

*Exchanges will provide will provide more affordable coverage.

* You can not be denied because of a pre-existing conditions.

*Medicaid will cover more people.

Remember all the promises of NFTA? They didn't come true. Good manufacturing Job losses have slowed to a trickle. Even if the outsourcing appears to rise again, it appears it won't be at the level it once was. Costs of off shoring as well as the instability of a number of

The Left has become the Village Idiots. They appear to have been correct about Iraq, but they are wrong on health care. Any health

care plan that covers more people will be better than what we have now. So? The Left's criticism is feeding the Right wing populist who want to kill this plan, medicare, and social security. If the the health bill passes now, changes can be made later.
