40) Guttentag/ It is very expensive to go to college. One reason is that the elite schools and very good ones with high ranks panicked in the 80's when it appeared less students wouldbe available.So they advertised and provided even more student amenities. Colleges had never advertised this much. It worked. Today, at the top schools, there is a ratio of 1 student accepted and 20 rejected. There are good schools out there and community colleges that make post secondary education even less expensive.

64) For years, China has been creating fakes that look like the real thing. Unfortunately, in some instances, it is downright theft. However, the latest forgery is cars. China now makes Hondas and Toyotas with China's own materials.  You can buy a Hongda that means Honda for cheap with the same quality and it looks the same.If the real corporations sue, then the companies go underground and pop up somewhere else.

79) There has been a serendipitous discovery. An oncologist was trying out a new drug for cancer. The drug is is a harmless relative to tuberculosis and leprosy. The bacteria did not help the cancer patients, but they got a lot happier. It appears that there is a new product to help the soul not the body. Rather, help the body in a way that depression is reduced. In experiments on mice, it also worked. SO THIS BACTERIA REDUCES DEPRESSION and would be great as an adjunct to anti-depressants./ In a lab experiment, one anti-biotic neutralizes the resistance to

another so that stronger and stronger lethal bacteria die and the patient is fine.

(45-52) Robinson  New data indicate that Iraq vets are getting less disability payments and that their pain and suffering is being downgraded to save  money. Vets getting full disability has diminished since 1998 to 2006 in which the war continues. It should be the other way around,

disability payments go up during war because so many more in harms way.

74) Evans/ Briefly Gonzales the Attorney General may lose his job because 1) he never held the president to constitutional control 2) Gonzales fired 8 during midterm appointments. On #2,

over the last 25 years, some 54 U.S. attorneys left office. Most voluntarily to run for another office.Two were dismissed based on corruption and three resigned before a corruption scandal

exploded. So 8 midterm dismissals stand out. It does not matter if all are dismissed at the beginning of a new term of another president because they want U.S. attorneys that see the world their way. They may not get that, but they are there in their office for the length of the president who is in office. The 8 claim they were dumped because they violated the political beliefs of the president and Gonzales carried out the task.
