Numerous people are now getting their DNA analyzed and they discover that they have Black heritage. Roughly 20 % of white Americans have Black heritage and many do not know it. So the DNA findings are very revealing to them. Some 70% of Blacks have White heritage so it would appear that race really is a social construction. All this applies to Asians too.

A good example of a White Africans is Carol Channing of HELLO DOLLY fame and Meg Tilley who is a White Asian. On the other hand, former Secretary of State Colin Powell last year became an official Scotsman. His Jamaican background has a strong Scotch influence. Further, as MICRO SOFT NEWS reported, Powell is a distant relative to one of the many presidents that occupied the white house.

What we know about ourselves is what our Ancestors chose to tell us.
