David Lynch, the producer of the popular series of the 80’s TWIN PEAKS
is a follower of Transcendental Meditation. He wants it used in the schools
because of the problems in education. He believes that it would mellow
the students and they would think more clearly.

There would be reservations about that as TM is defined as a religion
by Evangelicals.. I have talked with a faculty member of a TM institution.
It is a method and most of the faculty go to the nearest Christian
churches…especially the Catholic Church.
