The church has 1.2 billion members. Nearly 70% are located in Latin America and Europe. The smallest is North America and Oceania.

In North America, 7% are Roman Catholic. In terms of social change, Europe and North America are the most active and rich. The biggest growth is coming in third world countries.

Those who lost members include the following: United States, Puerto Rico, Ireland, France, Austria, Brazil, and New Zealand. The greatest growth is in the Congo and Micronesia.
