Cookies were invented by a fellow named Mulli for the old NETSCAPE. At first, it was used to identify numbers of users to a site. Then corporations and the government got involved. So, every where you go, you leave footprints. It is best to get spy ware and COOKIE SCRUBBERS. Go to Google and look up cookie scrubbers. I use PC SPYWARE and bought their PRIVACY GUARDIAN. It periodically scrubs my hardrive. In fact, something like 40% of users now have spy ware/cookie scrubbers.
