The vest may have been the bulge on his back and under his sport coat when he debated Senator John Kerry in 2004. The vest is shown and it is also displayed in terms of how it looks under a dress coat. He may have AF.

Bush may have passed out in his first administrative years around 2002 due to AF. The story is that he choked on a pretzel. The president's mother and father have AF atrial fibrillation and it can be genetic. The LIFE VEST is to protect him from minor strokes and heart attacks. In other words, when there is the sign of either, the LIFE VEST shocks him back to normality.AF is a chronic lasting illness. It was first discovered when he was exercising.

Vice President Cheney suffered a heart attack on November 22, 2000, according to this source and the V.P. health was described as having chest pains.   On Saturday, June 30th, 200l, Dean indicates that Cheney had an implantable cardioverter defibrillator put in his chest.This is serious and Mr. Cheney is a very sick man according to Dean.
