27/ Darman If Congressman Harold Ford wins the senate race, the Democratic Party will become the PURPLE PARTY. Ford is essentially a Republican on a lot of issues and that keeps him viable. In other words, each Democrat should run their own race. That makes the tent much bigger for conservative blue dog Democrats. If he loses, he will suffer from the BRADLEY EFFECT. White voters say they voted for a black man when they voted for a white person. Pelosi and Reid should become Purple. Why? Because there is 2 conservatives for every Progressive. The rest are moderates.

been applied, but we are really at the beginning of a new century and a new capitalism, but we are really not sure what it is.

AMERICA BY THE NUMBERS 42-55/ Where do we live? We live on the coasts. There are 9 big inland cities. We are becoming more southern and western. Faces in the crowd. Women barely outnumber men. 80% are white. Most racial groups have about 2 children except Hispanics who have about 3 children. Less and less of us are getting bigger and bigger. Since 1940, we have grown a third. We have smaller families, later marriages or no marriages, and we have more educated people. We vote mainly red by geography, but tie when it comes to demography. 55% rarely vote. 35% vote most or all the time. US employees work 46 weeks, Germans work 40 weeks. A third of us believe in a wrathful god, 23 % believe in a benevolent god, 16% believe in a critical god and 24% in a distant god. The Midwest and the South are the most religious.

13/ The NIH’s job is to protect big pharma. They protect companies when they taint their data. The Shelby amendment is to really protect big pharma. Thus, prestigious journals may have to go to asking for all the data from a study or studies that did not have pharma money to support it.

 

30/ Postmodern can call that something is wrong. However, the standards are lower than modern or pre-modern.
